Flashing with ROLIS 4.79,it don't read nokia's 3310 flash!!!!HELP ME!!!!

Hi boy!!
I have a problem with ROLIS 4.79!!In fact i tried to read the flash of the nokia 3310 ( the version of nokia is 6.33 of november 2003) but it say: "FLASH TYPE UNKNOWN".THEREFORE THE VERSION OF ROLIS IS INCOMPATIBLE WITH THE VERSION OF THE NOKIA'S FLASH!!How do i do?Could i to rewrite the original flash with another flash (of another nokia 3310) ?How do i do it?I need of your help,thanx!!

Hi,

Try the Rolis version from our download area.

It should work on a regular 3310, without bothering any settings.

If U are on Windows XP, U might need to install the program called 'userport'.

Before U start writing, U need a good 2MB full backup file from Ur phone 1st, which U can always use later in case something went wrong.

Yes i've installed also USERPORT in fact it working correctly on other nokia 3310 ,but don't read the flash of this nokia 3310 (V.6.33).Eventually could i write directly another flash (of a various nokia 3310) into it?How do i do it?

It doesn't matter what version you flash as long as it's complete! If in doubt, source a working backup and flash that! :wink:
