Nokia 1100 RH-18 in Qatar

Has anyone unlocked a Nokia 1100 RH-18 from Qtel in Qatar? If not, can anyone provide guidance as to what settings I need to be using in the unlock codes generator?

Ok, So you downloaded the NFREE calc right?
If Not: http://unlock.nokiafree.org/download.php

Ok, Now install it and Boot It Up.

Choose DCT4 Expert
Enter your IMEI exacly as you see it.
Select Qatar
Select Q-Tel
The Asic Should Be Asic 2
And Below Make sure the drop down box writes: 'Original' (The number beside should be 32779).

Click Calculate.
Use The +7

Done.
See, Its not that hard now is it?

Thanks! I've unlocked plenty of US phones, but never ventured into international waters :P .

I'll give this a try tonight and see what happens.

Is there a way you figure out the different settings for the calculator? I normally do a search on this forum and find out from other, but I'm trying to figure out what the logic is to generate the Asic, Original, and figuring out the number (32779 in this case).

Should I input the code with or without the SIM card inside the phone? I followed your instruction and the phone didn't unlock! I think I have only 1 more try....HELP!

You can do it either way.
The only time you MUST do it with the Phone ON (SIM IN) is when you try Phone On (SIM OUT) and nothing happens.

For your last 4 code trys; did you try it with the SIM in or SIM out?
What error message did you get?
