how do i use 3310 spyphone? please help

hi, ive recently bought a 3310 spyphone which came with no instructions, can anyone tell me how i activate the spymode on this phone please?

I am not 100% sure but try *#779#. It may also be under a shortkey. press and hold the * key for about 3 seconds then press any number from 1 to 9, try them all.

The number to call is the number on of the SIM card installed in the spy phone. But might only activate when in spymode first.
