Nokia 5130 unlocking problem?

I'm trying to help out a friend as his current celular sucks, anyway he gave me a Nokia 5130 that was locked, I tried some codes but it turned out it was provider locked.
So, today I build a MBUS cable (Based on a MAX232) and hooked it up using Rollis 1.8 and unlocked it...well, to me everything seemed fine but aparantly something's wrong as it won't register(?).

I just tried Rollis 1.9 and it says open on all 4 locks :???:

Nokia 5130 is an DCT3 Single Band 1800 phone it will only work on newer PCS networks in Europe and a few in Asia, It will not work In Australasia or America

Yeah, I figured it out not long after I posted (Silly me, what was I thinking?).

He had an old Dutchtone Pre-paid SIM card collecting dust and it works just fine.

You can get unlocking code from online free unlocking websites, once you have a code follow the simple instructions mentioned below:

Warning : Do not enter any wrong unlock codes on your Nokia 5130 mobile phones. If you enter over a certain amount of wrong unlock codes on your Nokia 5130 mobile phone, your phone may get hard locked and sometimes become unusable.

1 - Switch on your Nokia 5130 without any sim card.
2 - Don't bother as to what is displayed on your Nokia 5130.
3 - Compose #pw+CODE+1#.
4 - The Nokia 5130 would then display the message "SIM Restriction Off" and will be unlocked!

Note :For Nokia 5130 mobile phones locked to the network Fido in Canada follow these instructions :

1 - Switch on your Nokia 5130 without any sim card.
2 - Don't bother as to what is displayed on your Nokia 5130.
3 - Compose #pw+CODE+7#.
4 - The Nokia 5130 would then display the message "SIM Restriction Off" and will be unlocked!

The letter p appears if you press the button star(*) three times quickly
The letter w appears if you press the button star(*) four times quickly
The symbol + appears if you press the button star(*) two times quickly
The CODE you need to enter is the unique unlock code for your Nokia 5130

Each Nokia 5130 mobile phone has an unique unlock code. You can buy the unique unlock code for your Nokia 5130 mobile phone using the form above.
