Codes resulted in: Phone Restrictions off, thankyou very much.

How ever, when i inserted the new SIM card it appeared "SIM not Ready". I re typed the resulting code and i got "No restrictions on" but SIM is still not working...

I've read some posts and got to the conclusion that either the SIM or the phone are old.

Sim not Ready basically means the SIM's Contact List Funtion has not fully listed to the Mobile phone.

This ussally happens if the SIM is Damanged, Scrached, Dirty, or like you said. Old.

Try cleaning the 'Chip' part of the SIM with a dry cloth. Leave your battery out for a minute; then put your SIM back in and Boot up your Phone. Leave it on for 2-3 mins and try again.

If all else fails, Request a New Sim from ur SP.
