This should be in the limits of the questions I can ask I think.

I read that if the date is 03 or "backwards" than it is a V2.
the date is 09-07-03,

I want to make sure its not like a car were if it is past June they will call it a 2004 model.

My question in sumary is, Is this an 03 model? I think so, but I would really like a second thought before I go and lock the phone up.

Also just to double check, a model 3595 should I select the 3510 with the online tool? I think I just read something close for another model.

This forum is great, thanks for being here.

Sorry, my first post.
Maybe this format is better.

Model 3595 (I read this makes it a DCT4 but do I select 3510?)
USA T-moble
Firmware info V7.20 09-07-03 NPM 10 (NMP) so, the date is 09-07-03 right?
making it V2?
I will not put the IMEI code as I read that I'm not to do so.

Is there any more info that I could use or a thread that answers this. I feel like I get close with each one, but none help so far.

OK, I think I'm going to answer my own question when I get home.
I will try
Network 31020
Phone type 2
Box 33820

I'm going to try code 7 first and then code 1. If that doesn't work I will ask for more help before I use up too many turns.

Code # 7 worked the first try. Thanks Nokiafree.org. :-D A little reading and did it on my own just like a pro.

Again for anyone following what I did:

The Asci2 and the 3510 for the Gen gave me the same results. ;)

Your phone would accept any of the GEN's calculated codes except for the V1 which was blocked in June 2003 ;)

Nice to see you solving the problem on your own :-D . It's the purpose of the forum since there's so much info available .
