If you're referring to the fact that the phone after a few seconds shows the analogic clock, there's an option to disable it on the display settings.
At least, there's it in my 6230i!

Mr Wolf Thanks but with the 3120 after 10 seconds of no use
the power saver cuts in I have been in contact with
nokia Australia and there is no legit adjustment for this I
am hoping someone has a non legit fix for this problem its an otherwise
quite good no thrills phone

sergo_zmeia Thanks for the reply what happens is after 10 secs of inaction
the phone goes to powersaver mode the sceen backlighting switches
off it is very hard to to read it switches back on when a key is pressed an other
thing when the key pad is locked and say if you have got it to display the clock
you have to unlock to turn powersaver off to make it easily to read

Nokia have told me this is inbuilt to prolong battery life
Im just wondering if there is a fix available
