Can software do this?

check to see why a phone wont pick up any networks? Can you get any software that checks if the antenna/hardware is working? If I can find out if it isn't hardware i can concentrate on the software.

search around for wintesla, it's the official nokia service software that allows to make adjustments and tuning of phone parameters
You'll need the program, the DLL for your phone model and a crack to have it work.

If you've got a mail account that is accepts big mails, I can send it to you..

yes but i'm not sure if it's very reliable... when I run it on my 100% working phone is says that DSP is not working...

haven't found any guides yet...
Of course you can damage eyerything, as you can edit all settings like TX/RX fine adjustments, different calibrations etc...
one advice : backup!
(of course these adjustments are at software-level).
