Hey all, Im quite new to this, i have a nokia 2600 that needs unlocking, ive read how to do it numerous amounts of times, but the only problem for me is that the phones previous service provider was Australia Star Communications, and i cannot find any unlock codes for that provider. Please help if you have any details that could lead me to an answer.

Does that mean the optus codes should work? Becayse i tried the +7 and +1 but they dont work so i dont want to screw anything up. Also if its part of an optus group company, how come my new optus sim card doesnt want to work?

Your Settings May be incorrect.

Make sure your settings are:
Network: AUS-OPTUS,
PHONE: ASIC 2,
GEN: ORIGINAL.

#1 Should Work.

Your Optus SIM may be too old and does not recognise this virtual provider.
Optus may have also made it so you cannot use your optus Sim on this locked phone.
They did the same thing with 'B' Mobile Prepaid, but later took it off.
