Make a full backup of a phone

So, after learning something about flashing DCT3 phones, I want to learn something about flashing DCT4 phones, I've got a 6310i and a 8310.
So, what's the best program to flash?
Is it possible to make first a full backup (MCU, PPM and EEPROM) of the phone? The program I found (If I well remember should be DCT4 flasher pro) doesn't allow it!

There's a BIG difference between DCT4 and DCT3. The flashers!!

While Dejan showed the world about the DCT3 flasher schematics and it spread rapidly, he tried the same for DCT4 "offering" the cheap flasher that requires patched flashes (don't know nothing about it though) but makers decided to build it into expensive devices like JAF, Griffin etc...

So unless you know about patched flashes you must get an expensive box (200€+) to get the job done.

Minor, though maybe precise the thing we're waiting for on dct4.

Although I doubt whenever it comes, if there is still interest in modding.

Phones nowadays play all games, mp3's, video's etc, what more to add?

So, I bought a cheap flasher (http://cgi.ebay.it/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=30425&item=180023906423, very cheap as you can see!) and I found this tutorial:

I tried to flash my 6310i (software version 5.50) with a lower software version (4.06, this because I'm making some experiments with bluetooth with a program called Bloover), it seems it wrote the flash, but the tutorial says it should show "Local mode" after flashing MCU, but it doesn't and now the phone doesn't turn on anymore!
I don't understand, because beyond the flash files there are these "FIA files" and it seems (that's what I've understood) there is a different version for each version of the software, so maybe I should look for FIA files 5.50.
Please help me or my phone will stay dead!

I'm very interested in the thing, we could talk about bluetooth security, SMS spoofing, wi-fi and so on! This forum is my reference point about phones!

So, I succeeded to resurrect my 6310i!
I flashed it with the flash (NPL 1 - 6310i v5.10 Patched MCU+PPM L (CZ+SK)) I found here:

It's the only flash I found that worked! Actually, as that tutorial said, I needed a patched flash!

The only problem is: bluetooth doesn't work anymore and I don't know why! Don't know if it depends by the flash!
The phone is not visible and if I search for other devices from the phone, it continues to search indefinitely!
Fuck! Bluetooth is the only reason why I bought that phone!
I'll try and search other patched flashes!
