Ringtonemanager problem....any help???

Ringtonemanager problems.....
1.Wheni upload JITTERS from 8250 flash i can hear it but i cannot hear when someone calls me.....
When i upload JITTERS from 5210 i hear DAWN tone instead of JITTERS....
2. When i upload some tones in menu it is written TYP 1,TYP2,TYP3 etc instaed of original name of tone.......

Any solution for all this??????

8250 has different tone numbers than other phones.

ie. ringring number is 0001
second? tone number is 0005
You have to manually change tone number.

Yes, the location for tone number is at 0x0004

If you have ie. 20 tones and they all have same tone number then they
play same tone.

Tone number must be different for each tone.

Taht means thati have to change ringtone number in BACKUP FLASH OF MY PHONE or where?????
Or it mneans that i have to change number in PPM file and then extract in rintonemanager and then upload to another phone????

Yup....
extract it using ringtone manager, then change the tone number (located at 0x0003 of each .re file). Use hex editor. 0x0003 means byte number 4.
Then. upload it again. If you have exp enough, you are able to change the tone number in flash file without having to extract it 1st.
