6230i unlock help

hi all i need help iin unlocking a 6230i on orange i have tried twice on unlockitfree but got code error

i have sorce cruxunlocker an would like to know if anyone can assist me


i put in
nokia dct4
6310i (npl-1)
the imei
select country
select orange

but then i dont know what the
asic 1,2,3,4 bit i should select

or if its v2 griffin original etc

can anyone help

GEN is ASIC 6 (32821)

Orange UK 23433

Sim Card inserted into phone Code +1

You only have three attempts to input the correct code

i did search but couldnt find anything on gen that made any sense thought by asking i would get a straight answer and not bust the phone.

well i have used the calculator using your above information but can only manage to see code 1 to 5

in your instruction it says put in code 1 with the sim card in the phone is that correct, because i thought i was to put the codes in without a sim card in

some people on here saythat try code one then try code seven

In order to get to the "Enter code" screen on a 6230i you need to put a Non-accepted SIM card in it.

It is different from the 6230, where you enter the code without a SIM card in it. And it definitely does not work if you put the accepted SIM card in it, since you can never get to the point where the phone asks for the code. If you enter the code with the accepted card in it, nothing will happen - you will not unlock the phone and you will not use up one unlocking attempt, since the phone will think you have simply entered a weird number which stays on the screen until you clear it.

i made a huge mistake in my post the phone is a 6310i would the gen be the same and the unlocking process be the same
