I have a 6230i that is locked to vodaphone, the codes won't unlock it so i guess its hard locked, I have a dku-2 and a dku-5 cable so would there be any software to unlock this like the bb5 phones?

i think you can try and use jaff will unlock but use the latest software.should solve your problem.good luck.

I've installed the jaf emulator but always get usb error, anymore ideas?

but there are other options....but not for free....sorry
when u say code not unlock what u mean? this mob...have to insert other network sim then key in ur pwcode.....
only then do code work u av 5trys just use code7 always use code7 if then get code error recheck settings.......if then get cannot undo restriction........that means u got right code but used ur 5gos up.....

I too have followed the posts on this site but have to admit find it a little confusing. I followed as best i can the advice and entered the ist code and the 7th getting an error message both times.

two queries
How do i know if the box code is correct, I used Ver 2
and
Do i have to have a sim card in the phone whilst entering the code
