I report the happy unlocking of a 6030b previously locked into Cingular.

I just used the DCT4 calculator at:

http://unlock.nokiafree.org/dct4.php

with the following params:

Gen: original
Nokia model: asic 2

NETWORK: 31017
PHONE TYPE: 2
BOX: 32779

The code which unlocked the phone was the first generated one.

you can unlock your phone using a box or the online calculator? but i suggest you use a box for unlocking. much safer and reliable.
