Hi guys

I'm new to the unlocking scene and wonder if anyone can help.

I unlocked my 6230 using the code gen and this appeared to work great as it accepeted and booted with my O2 sim (phone was locked to Tesco mobile). However, when i try to make a call the message "call not allowed" appears. I can recieve calls with no problems I just cant make any!

I have tried restoring the phone to factory settings but this did not seem to help. Any suggestions???

Cheers

first check Go to setting > Security menu and disable FIXED DIALING, This will slove uor prob

if not:normally it sim prob...
firstly have any credit on sim......????try sim in another mob...even if u no credit,u will hear operator tell u to top up,,,

when u make call from mob do u hear 3 high pitched tones?????????
if you do then its barred,,,,a locked tesco mob will take t-mob,and virgin,,,an unlocked 1 wil take any sim(except 3g)...try with voda sim,as voda wil get signal barred or not,,,ring out...do u hear the 3 high pitched tones?
orange normally u not get signal......or sim registration failed...
if u want go for the hardware prob side,,,,,,,,,,then it PA prob.......
also use different sim an check call barring.......in settings....just check status..
hope this helps:)

but i think if u disable fixed dialling sim work,,,,,seen it appen before on 6230
