Can anyone please help.

My phone was dropped in a river recently. I left it in the airing cupboard to dry out for a few days but it wouldnt power up.
A local phone shop took it apart and cleaned all the insides and it now powers up but all I am getting on the display is 'Contact Service'

I am needing to get my contacts off this handset. Can anyone please help.

I have tried just using the nokia software with a CA-53 cable but it couldnt connect to the phone.

Many Thanks in advanced
Darren

Yes. The drivers came on a CD with the cable.

I installed the drivers. My computer found that there was a Nokia 6230 there but it could not access anything on it.
Nokia Data Suit also knew the cable was there but could not find the phone.

I have tried rebooting a few times. I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling all the software but still the same result. I have even tried installing on my wifes computer but still the same!

Thanks
Darren
