I have a Nokia 6030 from Singapore. It's a pay as you go phone that I used quite a bit while there. I am trying to unlock it in hopes of replacing my worthless razor with it while I wait out the rest of my terrible cingular contract.
With the sim card removed from the phone, I have tried the codes created with the 3.10 code calculator without any success. When I enter the codes I input the last # sign and nothing happens. I have tried the first and seventh codes with all three Singapore options and have no results. I was able to retrieve the IMEI from the phone with the code I found here.
What am I doing wrong? Is there a distinction between the pay as you go phones and ones that have a monthly service plan? I have no idea what company I was buying the cards from as I have lost the last top off card I purchased and there is no carrier on the box.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
