Hi,

Are there any news about unlocking 6300 yet ? Does anyone know what does that software do ? I mean if it's calculating the unlock code by getting some information from the phone then we could somehow feed the information to the calculator (As you can imagine I've got a locked 6300 just waiting for the right software :()

Me too... My 6300 is just waiting for a code!!

Do we really need to attach the phone via whatever cable? Cant I just send my IMEI and anything else thats needed and get an unlock code?

The BB5 phones that can be unlocked need to be connected to a pc and it is not a calculator used. Also it is against the forum rules never mind stupid to post your imei number
