Hi I have a N70 locked to Movistar Spain, (now in uk) which I am trying to unlock with a DKU-5 adapter cable, using Dejans BB5 unlocker codes.
Have everything up and running. When I clic onto read phone I get a message saying '' Bad connection (check FBUS cable, turn off/on phone, restart program, etc ) When turn phone on get the message on phone Enhancement not supported. No V5.0616.2.0.3.

First of all u don't need to open 2 threads at the same time :)

I've had he same problem. I used my N70 in Turkey and in Greece for a year, then I came to UK and it was locked :)

You cannot connect your N70, it is because you have the wrong cable or you did not install the driver cable properly (but since you receive "not supported" message in your mobile, you probably do not have the right cable). All you need is a DKU-5 cable and Dejan's software.

Please note that most of the generic CA-42 cables will not work (although some people will tell you it will). To unlock a N70 you need a DKU-5 cable. I bought two CA-42 cables from EBay (they were a little cheaper) and they did not work. You can buy a good generic DKU-5 and they cost around £3-£5.

For the first time you may receive an error like this:

This sometimes happens when you try to create a log file. If this happens, push OK and try "Make Log" button again immediately. It will create the log file. You can then create your own PSW file by starting BB5_calc.exe.

Then push SP Unlock and you will hopefully receive this:

Good luck..

Sorry about the two threads was a mistake.

I have a DKU-5 cable and using Dejans software, as stated in my original post.
I assume the cable is a DKU-5 cable as the box it came in said DKU-5 connectivity Adapter cable and the cable also has a sticker on which says the same.
If I could get to the point where it said (READ SP DATA ERROR) I would be one more step ahead.
Thanks for your input very much appreicated.
If you or anyone else have any other ideas I would be obliged
Thanks again
