'Contact Service' Error

Hi all,

i'm here because my Dads beloved 6230 has just got a 'Contact Service' message.

As you can imagine, we're confused as to why it happened out of the blue, but we hope you can help non-the-less.

Can anyone give me a set of instructions on how to flash the phone and get it working again?

just unlock phone after writing pm.
but for detailed info,,,,need 2 know what box/flasher u using?
if all this sound doubledutch 2 u,take shop 2b done....
as 2 learn all bout flash nokia---steep hill 2 climb.

unlock phone after writing pm? I'm not sure what you mean by that

I dont know what box/flasher i'd use, i know there are programs that you can use to flash a phone via cable, and i assume they're free downloads

When i turn the phone on i get that error message, i cant do anything else, it just stays there til i turn it off
