I am losing my mind - Tmobile couldnt be worse

I have paid for a subsidy release from t-mobile but it doesnt work. My 6500 classic now says phone restricted. They have given me a refund and claim nothing will work and to call nokia.

Nokia have said that tmobile are attempting to keep me on by intentionally giving the wrong codes.

Someone please help

Don't ask for a refund of code

I would insist that a new phone is sent to you as they are proved incompetent

Consider contacting Citizens Advice Bureau

Did you pay for the phone by credit card ??

If so you could have additional protection (UK Consumer Credit Act 1974)

If the phone is still under warranty, Nokia will reset the counter if you send them the phone. That doesn't fix the problem of being given the wrong code though.
