I bought this new phone, seller stated its factory unlocked. I put in my Fido(Canada) sim card, powers on get to main screen and menus. But I can not dial out or receive calls. Does this mean its locked? I see O2 as an option for right key button. I am assuming 02 is a carrier from Europe? I try to change Operator selection option to manual , I get none available. No network coverage
I know from past experience, when a different sim card would be put in a phone, it would ask for subsidy code, meaning it was locked. I don't see this message on this nokia 7373.
i will send it back for a refund or cost to get it unlocked locally, any information would be appriciated.
