The Nokia s40 phone is not turning on even with full battery, what to do?

The problem is not hardware related, but the firmware might be corrupt, so how can I use the phone again ? How to re-install the firmware or is there any way (secret code etc) to run the mobile without taking it to repair shop?

It's a traditional classic-style mobile, but it doesn't look or feel like the ugly duckling, even when placed next to the latest generation of touchscreen beauties. Nokia are at their very best with this classic style of handset, and they look like they've pulled out all the stops for this one.
