anyone know of any software that can unlock a HTC Wildfire? I'd rather not have to pay for a code off ebay :(

Most of the software may spoil your mobile.You may loss some data on your mobile.So better you can use the code.This is the safest method of unlocking.If you wanna code, get it from your network provider or get it from this provider http://www.mobile-unlocker.com/htc-wildfire/rs2wp9/ . Through this you can unlock your mobile easily.

There are 2 options you can try to unlock your mobile phone. One is either you take your mobile phone to a nearby local dealer and request them to unlock for you. This option will cost a bit.

Other option is to do some research via Internet and check if there are any free sites / tools which help you to unlock. This option is bit risky as well. If you are not that technical sound, you may end in doing something wrong to your mobile. Though this option does not cost you but indirectly it may cost you a lot :)

So, personally I recommended you to spend some money and ask the local dealer to unlock the mobile phone for you.

like our brother amyswan says, is better if you spend some money for unlock your wildfire by codes, im professional unlocker and i taste the 2 metods....the first losse your antenna signal and doesnt works again for free, the second for codes is perfect unlock. if you wanna check the first metod please check this website w3.htcmaniapointcm and remember that all is for your own risk...good look
