Does anyone know if MasterCRD 2 LCD can program simcard8? Does it use the same software found on ucables.com or a diferent one?

By the way what type of card is simcard8?
Is it a Funcard V wafercard (Alpha logo on chip, wafercard at90s8515-a + 24c512 with EXTRA large eeprom 512k), or just a simple Bluecard wafercard (Pic16F84(A) en EEprom 24lc64)

Thnx!
Sam

for sim x8 just try with software provided with simmagic/simaster hardware (btw it have to recognize your mastercrd prog and i don't know this one), but sim x8 are expensive, u can replace them with 'classic' silver or greencard and simemu sw.

@ is just manufacturer logotype, funcard V have atmel mcu (at90xxx) like all funcards, i don't know about eproom but it's 2x larger than previous fun4 version

thank you for the reply!

Ok, lets supose that I want to use program the greencard with the simemu software, what programmer should I use? "Phoenix Programmer TE21 for GoldWaffer Cards" or "Smartcards, piccards and goldwaffers cards programmer Reference: PICPROG1" Making refrence to the products found at ucables.com.

Would (at least phoenix) do to read the IMSI & KI?

This is just becouse I want to spare a few €€ buying a all in 1 programmer :)

thanks again!

in your case u need a programmator who can read to extract ki/imsi keys (phoenix/smartmouse) and write your clone (JDM/pic) either, all 'multi' would have those modes just verify it can deal with greencard or silver depending simemu version you want to use.

will the "MILLENIUM II -CardMaster!" at http://www.todotarjetas.com/grabadores.htm do for the job? Another thing, in the simemu.com instructions they mention a 16F877 PIC, but the greencards that I found have the "Pic 16F876 (10 Mhz) + Eeprom 24LC128 de 128K" is there any problem at all?

Thanks
Sam

@tarantino,

as long as you have the programmer that can load the hex files below to your PIC card.

1. SIM_EMU_FL_5.00_ENG.hex
2. SIM_EMU_EP_5.00.hex

Later you can manually key in the KI and IMSI number at your phone. That simple.

Howewer you still need the reader to read the KI and IMSI.

your choice to select the programmer.

"The thing, in the simemu.com instructions they mention a 16F877 PIC, but the greencards that I found have the "Pic 16F876 (10 Mhz) + Eeprom 24LC128 de 128K" is there any problem at all? "

The answer is both PIC 876 and 877 (128) are same and already built in in the green card.
