I don't know if there is a software solution, but otherwise you can remove the LEDs..

use the net monitor, activate the LIGHTS OFF!

When you select page 18 the 1st time, you activate the lights permanently.
When you select it the second time, it totally deactivates the lights, BUT it reverts to normal operation if you don't press any key during more than a few seconds. In fact the same time that the lights stay on after a keypress in normal state.

Hello! you could remove the leds or what u can do else,is cutting the circuit for the leds of the keyboard and the LCD!!!

get a cutter then cut all the connections on the lcd....
