How To Repair???
Hi guy,
I currently own two nokia 8250 which both faces a problem.(contact service) but the two handphone problems are presented in a very different way.

The will seem to appear fine first nokia 8250upon switch on but after a couple of second.it will auto restart and display contact service and hang,untill i pull the battery out.

The other 8250 when I switch on the phone it will immediatly display contact service and remain hang.

What should I do to the phone,to order to repair the phone.what do you guys advice me do. I would like to know how the problem occurs and how to fixes with what tools,software and hardware. Thank you for reading this message.

try flashing both phones with a good working flash file of 8250, try full flashing it,:D :D :D email me if you have problems, [email protected]

I have a 8250 and offtern get this problem, in my experience it is caused by one of four things:

1) Bad checksums, correct them
2) Corrupt flash file, get a new one and flash it
3) Bad eeprom, in which case flash a new eeprom (virgin or otherwise)
4) Bad imei and msid caused by bad eeprom

Hope this is of some help, and in all cases it mite be easyer just flashing a full 2mb flash to the fone, then correctting sp locks and imei etc.

Mark
