SIM lock Motorola T191

Help me please!!!!!!!!!
I bought a phone on Price Minister.com but the SIM Lock is activated. When I try to use the phone with my SIM Card I have the message Insert Correct SIM. The owner told me that he never changed the unlock code (he doesn't even know what it is) but the default code doesn't work (00000000).
What can I do?

before trying anything pres*#300# ond OK on your phone and see software version....
and post it here for us - to tell what software to use...using software on unsuported software version will kill the phone.......

In fact, I am not an expert with mobiles phones. I just know how to call with them that's all. I thought I could solve the problem with a code but if it's with a software and if it's possible to crash it this way, i think i'll take it to a profesionnel.
