Laptop won't delivery as much current from the paraller port, that flasher needs, so you should use a external power supply.

:D :D :D :D

Who have built Dr.Bizar's combi flasher? Have you try it on notebook. Power comes from lpt as well as comm port...

Use kNok. Rolis also doesn't work with my Presario, but kNok does.

use charger when asking for power on instead of phones power button.
also 78L05 voltage regulator is what you need for external supply modification :)
when thinking external psu, dont discount the usb port as it gives steady 5V DC :)
have fun with some cable modifications but i did post 100% working scheme for laptop flasher in this forum under an old username, so maybe search...

If you want to unlock use old (P1MMX) notebooks.
Every cable works on my notebook.

Ok, to start with, Win Me + Win 2000 has problems with flasher cables! 2nd, Notebooks normally have their LPT Ports set to SPP mode! Go into the bios and change it to ECP or EPP (Test both) If your laptop doesn't have a bios option, go to the manufacturers web site and check in downloads! Toshiba were very helpful with my laptop model! As for the claim that the laptops won't flash running on batteries... well I don't know what genius came up with that idea! A bit of a myth i think! Anywayz it will work on batteries, but... make sure you have enough power left to complete a read and write! It's ADVISABLE to use the AC power, but not neccesary. Hope this helps! HAVE FUN!!!;)

what ibm thinkpad do you have?
I have ibm thinkpad 560e and i have no problem using nokia programs...all of them is working properly...try changing IRQ to solve your problem...

I have this problem last few weeks and i got it work when i change the IRQ..Do not use automatic config set it manually by yourself..Or use thinkpad features.
Used Basic Config 001. set it to ecp..and DMA 0..and test it.
