DSP 3 SP problem

Hi to all!

I did some research on the DSP 3 SimLock problem. And now BAM!
I have the same. Somebody said the only solution is to rewrite the read before EEPROM.
I have a backup but cannot write it back to phone.
Rolis says: Dump security CHK is bad. Check dump or phone type.
But I#m sure the EEPROM data is okay.
So anybody out there with nice programs to write EEPROM directly?

btw: nk-calc by Dejan is killing the DSP3 simlock fields!

dear friend,
i have a 6110 dsp rom 3 and with the BAD 'nk_calc' i lock my phone and i've this condition

Sim Locks Info -
SimLock1,EEEEE,CLOSED,USER ,0
SimLock2,FFFF,CLOSED,USER ,0
SimLock3,FFFF,CLOSED,USER ,0
SimLock4,EEEEEEEEEF,CLOSED,USER ,0

The phone doesn't accept the simcard.... and now?

Hi Gianni!

Yep. Bad thing. I tried the EEPROM Tools by pphreaks but I could not get them work... Dunno why...

I have MBUS, FBUS cable (per switch) and Flasher cable fully configurable (?) (All selfmade with switches and universal connectors...

I also tried the "old" solution (connecting pin 6,7 of EEPROM) but I did not work out. Sometimes I got OPEN with wierd number in it but it was still locked.

I think in DSP 3 there's something totally diferent and when using the programms noct made for it something goes terrribly wrong...

I'm agree with you.... I tried the EEprom tools by b-phreaks too, but obviusly it doesn't work: it says that doesn't support this kind of DSP rom..... This time Dejan has wrong something in his program....

I hope somebody can help us...

Hi Yasser!

I alredy did... I can upload the backup of my E2P.
Rolis says Bad CHK checksum and other tools refuse to work with the 6130 I have here (it's rarely supported. More common is the 6110 which has different NSK-x.
Think I'm going to desolder the E2P anmd program it external.
But I dont know whether it will help...

Need to build an adaptor before /n/images/smiles/icon_frown.gif
