T68 with T68i software - Phone barred on T-Mobile

I have a T68 with the T68i's software on it. The phone was bought on a Vodafone contract tariff. I want to use it with a T-Mobile contract SIM. When the T-Mobile SIM is inserted, I get the T-Mobile logo and have full reception but I can not make or receive calls.

Pain in the arse! Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
