since we can change the amount of frames, of the animated graphics, using flsedit,

is there anyway of making net monitor animated seeing how its only a single frame :)

create an animated menu for your net monitor then edit the bmp using flsedit...replace the unused bitmaps (like the itineris startup animation) with the menu you just created...then edit animation...set the length and for each frame no. change the bitmap id with the id of the menu you created.

i already tried it by adding a keyguard shortcut with an animation menu graphic.

I created one but how do you make the single frame menu graphic into an animated one, as theres no entry for net monitor in the animations screen of flsedit

Every animation has its own animation-ID!
Just take an unused animation, change it into your new netmonitor animation (using flsedit) and use its animation ID, which you have to enter in the last breakets of the menustring... (e.g. with g3n0lite, or by HEX ;)

thanks for ur reply. the animation id is the 4th item in g3n0lite's menu structure, isnt it? I'll try out with an unmodified flash if i have a few time. can i use a hex-editor with a modified flash? is it better than g3n0lite in this case?

But it's not the matter what's better as long as it's the result that's wanted.
