Whats complicated about it?
Direct Connect is a good P2P application the only downside is when you get people who share stuff that is crap just so they can download stuff but if it was managed well it would be good.
If someone was to host it they could password protect it and post the password here so only members of these forums could get access and if anyone was cought sharing crap they could be kicked.

good idea vippi. u should pm me the DC-address. I was trying out the tagtag-wap site but it was almosst empty. Maybe we should host some philes in irc? ? (efnet=#nokiafree) ? We can make that secret and under the key so no-one whos not familiar with this forum are not allowed to enter. I have few shell's to keep it alive if needed. So whats the best way to handle this? DC? IRC? WAP?
(btw, that quakenet sucks bigtime. Thats the main reason im preferring EFNET( irc.homelien.no:7000 ( no need for ident )).

ddos? lollo, dont you know how to protect yourself? ;) hihi, ok quakenet suites fine if thats the server you want to use. Maybe irc is not the right place to be. so, what about that DC-hubbie?

Quakenet gets my vote.

direct connect is very messy

Efnet is full of warez seeking, script monkeys :D

tbh, I reckon quakenet for chat and tech advice, and either a web domain, or ftp account for software. (Its simpler this way)
