The size of the background is 160 x 120, but I think that tha phone can scale every format.

You can use any program to manage images, like coreldraw and so on....

You need a photo editor like ulead photo express or photo de luxe and there's a lot more...

then using any of these program you'll just need to resize the image.

Get a photo editor in any of the following links:

http://www.vicman.net/vcwphoto/photo_f.htm - free version is available
http://www.myimager.com/ - image editor online
http://www.ulead.com/pex/freeware.htm - ulead photo explorer

Small correction:

the maximum size of the background picture is : 174 * 132 pixels

and the size of the operator logo is : 97 * 25 pixels

Have a nice day, all of you and a nice weekend.

The simplest way is to use the photo editor that comes with windows(xp, but other versions should have it too). Resize it in the lool bar then save it. Your phone will scale a full size photo automatically but you don't want to be using up all that precious memory! When you save your resized picture in editor the file size will have also decreased. now just send it to your phone via infrared.
