some phones store sms's on the phone right?

where in the memory are these stored (mcu ppm eeprom etc)

they are in eeprom i guess, because mcu contains only "operating system" and ppm contain "graphic user interface".

Depens on witch phone :o
Also some of the msg are stored on sim :(

i thinks it is stor in eeprom too.
the best ways to find out is you save a sms to the phone that have the stor sms funtion,and than read the full flash of the phone,than use hexediter to find where is you sms located,is it in top,center,or below. than you know where it stor.
