1. If you're about to perform HARD RESET.. dont forget to plug your unit with the charger, coz NEVER NEVER NEVER interrupt this process if you dont want your phone to malfunction, or worst, to Contact Service.
2. if your battery runs out.. do not remove the battery instantly, wait for around one minute then remove it.. coz even if your phone looks already off, the system is still on its back-up process, so NEVER interrupt
just words of advice. i hope no one of us would have this contact service problem. enjoy the power of 7650! ;)

Aha! I usually remove the battery as soon I turned-off the phone coz I'm rushing to put the spare fully charged battery.
Haven't seen the contact service message .... (crossed fingers)
Thanks for your advise kiddo.... I will remember that :)

what he say it is RIGHT!!!
BE CAREFULL what u do:cool:
Once my batterie goes empty real fast(cause a lot of calls)
i remove it to fast for put the other full one,
so the contact Service was there...
But i was realy a lucky guy:
what i did was:
put the 7650 immediatly on a charger,so the boot-process works further...
(but i was lucky,to remove the charger so fast....
if the 76 would have some sec.more no power,it would crash down...

dudes,
I was changing logos using seleq 1.5 trial ver, while my fon was starting up it displayed "Phone start-up failed contact retailer". My battery was around 75% good. So what I did, I turned it off and turned it on again. Luckily the message did not appear again and evrything worked out wel. It nows works fine. Its just that I wanna know if Im at risk for a reflash in the future of the firmware. my s/w ver is 3.16.
hope to hear from you nokiafree wizards! \
