just finished adding startup and shutdown tone for 5130.it works man.

1. u need HEX Editor to do this
2. Open the fls file with HEX Editor.
3. Find HEX data 46c00002fd51
4. move the mouse pointer to beginning of 0001 address after
the 46c0 0002 fd51 ..... address.
5. Look at program status bar to find the offset address .
6. add 200000 to that address . eg. on
5130 v5.61 - 000A8D2C = 2A8d2C
7. Find the HEX data of 002A8D2C ( at address 000A8EA0 )
remember the address , u'll need to change this later on.
8. Now search for Text String .PPM . find the text where it says the PPM ,.. V05.61 then scroll up (u'll find a lot of FFFF FFFF ...)
9. Place ur mouse pointer to the beginning of the FFFFF FFFFFFF...
10. Look for the offset at program status bar .eg. 000ADE74
11. Add 200000 to that adress = 2ADE74( remember this address)
12. Now open your *.re ringtones . Select beginning of 02fc UNTIL 070b , n do look for the bytes length at the program status bar.
13. If it is part of the ringtones(selected) just put 070B at the last address n make sure there is 0AFE before 070b , u can add this after 40 xx ..eg 40 85 0a fe 07 0b . 40 is a pause address. so if u place 0a fe after 40 xx data it won't affect the tones sound . 0AFE address is to stop vibrating of ur tone or else it would be endless vibrating .
13. Switch back to ur fls file . Now select exactly the same bytes length as your copied *re tones data .then paste .
14. Now press CTRL+G to go to address in Step 7 .
15. Now u need to change this address from 002A8D2C to 002ADE74 (begginning address of you pasted tones data)
16. Save the file to new file with different ext. eg. mynewfile.temp
17. Now open the file with PPM Manager and Fix all PPM CRCs .
18. Save as *.fls file .
19. I use CHKFixer by Mr.Joox (downloaded somewhere in this forum) to fix the MCU CHKsum of the file .
20 . Now u can flash the file with ur favourite flasher.
21. Done.. ur Nokia 5130 is now with Startup N Shutdown Tone.

*** u can do the same to other models too , just do ur R&D .

Hope this will help , n please correct me if i'm wrong.
