3330 v3.12 saying "Contact Service"

Hello everybody,


I'm so sorry to , but as a newbie in this domain, I was given a 3330 v3.12 Nokia phone, in order to unlock it ... I am using a Dejan Flasher Cable, which is working fine with 3310, 8210 ... but with this GSM, the only result I have now is ... "Contact Service".

As this problem issues from my manipulation, I suppose it's not a hardware problem, but only a software problem ...

Please, could someone help me ? It would be so so so nice ... Please please please. I only was supposed to unlock it, and not to kill it .... booouuuh /n/images/smiles/icon_frown.gif

what is the soft you used and tell me exactly what you did

Okay ...

I tried to flash the phone for unlocking it, with a partial flash 3330-312.fls file and the DarkFlasherShell v4.12d, but after this operation, I had a black screen when starting the GSM. So I tried to make a "Restore" function still with this program ... and now, I have a Contact Service at the "boot".

By using Newnokiatool v034, I can see that I only have strange values for IMEI, old IMEI, and for example, I have EEEEE in the 1st Lock...

That's all the operations I did /n/images/smiles/icon_frown.gif but now, I am as locked as the phone is /n/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

you can search a full backup from a 3330 v 3.12 (200000 -3D0000) and flash it !
the phone must start or try to upgrade it when the sol don't work!

I have another problem : what kind of software shall I use tu perform this ? Because with DarkFasher I'm unable to replace this address range ... (in theory, I need to start at 00200000 and to end at 00300000) ...

when you restore a backup you need only the start address 0200000!!
start at this address and try to flash the file donwloaded!!

the file downloaded is 1024 ko, I started at 00200000, the flashing process was resulting "Done" but I still have this message "Contact Service"

Mouhahahaha ... I never manage to make something easy /n/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) But that's not so funny ... because now, when a I retry to flash the backup, I've got a "CMD Error!" message ... and the phone refuses simply to start !!! Aie aie aie ... it doesn't start anymore ...

So I'm going to look for a full backup elsewhere, I'm "crossing my fingers" to find one (this expression is typically French I suppose... maybe).

Go to napalm.all.at, nokia flash section and choose full/repair, then dowload the 3330 v3.12. I think it's available there.

This solution doesn't work ... sorry, but the phone is still in "Contact Service" status ... ARG /n/images/smiles/icon_frown.gif

And I also tried tu use NK_Calc, but I don't have a MBUS wire, only a FBUS one ...

I only noticed now, but 3330 has no 3.12 version! Maybe you mean version 4.12
I said to go to repair section, but if it still says 'contact service' you need full backup (MCU&PPM). i assume you need french in your phone, so there are 4 ppm packs with french for version 4.12: B, C F and O. probably you had in your phone PPM pack C (english,french,italian,spanish,portuguese and greek), right?

try to find at napalm.all.at under section Nokia Flash - MCU/PPM.

Really thanks ByteMe ... but it's sure, it's a 3.12 version, with French. I visited napalm.all.at , and I downloaded a 1024 ko file, from 00200000 to 003d0000 range of address, but only with this file, it'as not working better ...

I'm going to get MCU/PPM files ....

That's right : on the website, there's no 3.12 MCU/PPM file /n/images/smiles/icon_frown.gif( But really, I have this "strange" version ... you can find it in the Full Repair files ... mmm, strange ...
