What's the difference between 3310 v5.59 and v5.79?

I'm also wondering about this..
One question about 5.79, when i make a call, it doesn't say "calling," but that little logo comes up, showing that the call has been answered, and a call is in progress, even though it's still ringing... Is this a bug in 5.79?

i need help for my little problem in upgrading. in just starting, but already upgraded 3310 to 3315, original version, is there other versions that i can upgrade it to. i also solicite ur help with the 3210, i just want to edit it to the 7 sumthing version. ty.

Hi!
I have a small problem with 3310 5.79.
When I send a message with small greek letters at about 160 chars the recepient gets it as 2 msgs (I'm charged double) and with small chars instead of capital (as before).
I assume it is sent as unicode format and there is no menu to select unicode or GSM alphabet.
How can I solve this problem?

Hmm...

Get the flash from www.freegsm.biz but don't convert the Wintesla to Deejan, just read both files and flash the phone using Rolis 4.77.

I have successfully flashed my 3310 to 5.79 with language pack H (and it was my first attempt flashing with my home-made cable so yay to me hehe). I can't find any of those extra features, like the SMS counter... where's that meant to be? And I don't get no different logo when making a call, just the same "Calling.." and handset pics like always.
