Hi everyone.
I try to unlock old OTEdb BE1 16B, i have a cable, I'm using notebook, the cable has only three pins, 2-GND, 7-Tx, 8-Rx

I have not connected pin 4 +5V to MAX232 is this nessery?, for exp. the plug for Ericsson T10s works without +5V.
So, the problem is:
Soft: Andromeda 5.9 (and every other):
Telephon is turned off, I'm pressing "enter", soft should read data from the phone Imei etc., but only displays an error message, and after this telephone is turning on.
only two times succsesfully read data from phone, but when I tryed to unlock it has been stopped.
What is wrong, I tryed also attach cable whitout plug - this same story.
