sorry for my question but what kind of cells are NOKIA DTC4 or DTC3 or DTC2...
What means NOKIA DTC4 or DTC3 or DTC2

FAQ:
Q- What are DCTx?:
A- DCT means Discrete Cosine Transform and they are a series of 8 complex math algorithms used in signal processing
From the table bellow you can see the complexity of the maths envolved in all the 16 DTTsAnother important class of transforms consists of the 8 different types of discrete cosine and sine transforms (DCTs and DSTs), respectively, also called discrete trigonometric transforms (DTTs). Their applications include image and video compression,
So, until now Nokia has used three algorithms in their phones (DCT2 ->3110, DCT3 ->3310, DCT4 ->8310) but i would have to be a mathematician to understand the complexity of it all and to know if they're using another algo or will use in the future
So the best i can offer now is an old list i got with different kinds of nokia models but my advise is to use a search engine to find if is there any site with a full list of all versions of nokia phones
cheers

Wow,
Hidden talents...
I think it's quite complex to understand, although one can never learn better as by the direct root.

U can checkout anytime U like, but U can never leave!
Mr. mestrini, excellent.
I'll try to explain that briefly... in fact I'll pass this to my old man (ex math professor at university, I followed a radically different path). If he explains that, I'll post the explanation here.
As soon as I got some news, will post here.
Cheers

edit: I hope 'k', 'l' and 'n' are constants and not variables, since is they're variables there are gonna be some troubles...

well, if u want more i have some pdf documents that explain it very thoroughly
just ask![]()

Sure! I think you've got my mail... if you have not, I'll send it, just tell me.

Since more than one member requested me the files i think it's better to upload them here![]()
but notice that these documents aren't the holy graal of DCTx reversing ; they are study papers of some mathematicians and therefore the contents aren't directed to nokia phones but to math formulas instead![]()
anyway, blow your neurons![]()
