Supposing that you have bought the correct cable for your phone model, then there is some problem with the port of your computer.
Download from nokia site the nokia pc suite software (about 24mb) and try to connect with that software. From pc suite you can back up your contacts. As for the start up logo, that's a little bit more complex, and a cable and soft won't do as you need to flash the phone, therefore you will need a box or a dct4 flasher... very expensive for just one phone (from 150€ to 400€). For the ringtones, it's pretty easy. Just make your own ringtone and upload it in mp3 format or any format that you want (and the phone is able to read of course), and select it as your ringtone. An mp3 file at a bitrate of 192 kbps uses 1MB per minute, so a 15 seconds ringtone would only use 256kbs and it would be a very high quality ringtone. If you still cannot connect to the phone, I would say that the cable is damaged, badly designed or is not the cable for your phone model. I hope this helps! Best regards Edge |

Hi,
http://www.logomanager.co.uk/php/myp...es=6xxx&page=2 As noted on this site, only Mobius/PX V2.2 & LogoManager Classic V1.4 would work on 6310, NOT MobiMB. Anyway, once U found a suitable tool, U still might experience ports problems in case U're running on WindowsXP. Then try on Windows98 machine or with the tool 'userport.exe' NokDoc

I'm looking for similiar information, this time using Bluetooth. A friend gave me a loan of a Bluetooth type memory stick, I downloaded the Bluetooth software but it says I have to go into Bluetooth devices in control Panel (unfortunately it doesn't seem to be there
On my mates PC I did a back up before which gives you a backup file. Is there a programme this can be opened in to view / edit numbers without the phone ie an easy way of having a physical list of numbers rather than writting them out Thanks. |
