Ngage games on N70

Someone tried the new OS8_NGage_Game_Fix that surface few hours ago?
That's a combination between Sobol ColorFix and the New NokiaFC.dll and it's supposed to run ALL the newest NG games (Rifts,One,Asphalt 2,Mile High) on all OS8 handsets.
Unfortunately my N70 will at least stay 2/3 weeks out for repair,so there is some1 that can try this fix on it?

I managed to get the fix from another website... got all the games working... apart from the ones i really want ( SUPER MONKEY BALL ) and ( SYSTEM RUSH ) if these ever get fixed i'll be doing backflips around my room !!! thanks for trying to send those files... I gonna wait in anticipation now !!

Back again like a storm...
This time it's a very BIIIIIGGGGG good news for N70 owners...
Symply download attached libs,copy them into E:/system/libs
and install following games....

SYSTEM RUSH / SSX OUT OF BOUNDS / CRASH NITRO KART / FIFA 2005_2006 / WWE AFTERSHOCK

They'll run without any problems,without colorfix!!!
Have a blast!

Hmmm...today is a great day in the N70 universe....

SPLINTER CELL CHAOS THEORY N70 FIX

BEFORE TRANSFERING FILES IN MEMORY CARD:

-open SCCT archive and extract
-delete Browser folder
-copy following libs in 6R73 folder:gamecomms.dll, gameutils.dll,
httpdllrequest.dll, nokiafc.dll, stringpool.dll
-delete libs folder

NOW WE'RE READY...

-copy 6R73 folder in E:/system/apps
-turn bluetooth on
-open SCCT
-immediately press 'menu' button
-open colorfix
-return to game

That's it!

BTW If anyone comes across an all black replacement cover set for the n70 please let me know.... i've seen the black and silver and the blue pink and red...... but no JUST BLACK..... please please someone find it.

Damn....... i installed the libs files ssx works (nice) but crash nitro won't start at all.... and system rush starts but with two little purple screens (almost like two versions of the game running simultaniously) on the top half of the screen... is this somthing i have done wrong or a file i don't have ??? please help.

Aris has made a VERY big archive including ALL the fixes working on N70,with detailed info,the required libs and the specific release of the game needed for each fix to work.Go to usual places and download it,it's a 4,5 Mb rar file.
BTW Aris,next time try to at least say 'thanks' to some of your fix sources.....

okey here is a tip for you if you have a clean rs-mmc card try too install the libs fix on the clean rs-mmc card and then install system rush and crash nitro kart on it then i think they will work the problem do i guess is you libs folder on the other rs-mmc card how old is that card btw and what type?

It says in the Aris' list that Glimmerati "was said to cause problem on N70 bluetooth". Does anyone know what thoes problems are and is there a way to fix them?

Don't run glimmerati in N70, you will have problem finding bluetooth devices after and the only way to un-do it is to format your phone memory!

Hi guys, I´m new here , I have a 6681 for 3 days now, and before a had a 6600, I guess all this posts about N70 "n-gage compatibility" tips, are not the same for 6681 woners like me right?, so can someone point me to directions where I can get 6680/81/82 tips about n-gage games, I already instalaed without any fix the Rayman-3 "blz" and NBAslam "ziped" and this tow is working 100%, but I like to get other good titles in my 6681 like Asphalt1 and 2 too, Asphalt v1.5.3 "sis" installs but start with color problems and double mini screens, Asphalt2 "binPDA" dont work at all, "clicking" the Asphalt2 icon means nothing to my 6681 , a litle help here? .

on the phone show hidden files then copy the files to the main dir on your phone then on the phone cut then paste in the hidden systems folder. AFAIK the hidden systems dir will not show on pc suite. I use profiexplorer included with profimail rather than file explorer as it doesn't wait to load large folders. Hope this helps

I cant get Asphalt2 to work properly!

i did everything following instructions. when i run the game from fexplorer with bt on it justs throws me back to fexplorer after ngage logo if i turn bt off it shows more logos and after gameloft the phone crashes. if i run the game thru myown programs it runs smoothly but with messed up colours? anyone have any ideas? thanks for help!
