so I just tried it out on my phone and do not notice any difference at all in sound. One other thing, it says it supports full zip functionality. Is wildpalm saying that now you no longer need zipman to run the zipped roms. If so I cant get to work. Anyone else???

there are two versions!! standard and pro, standard really sucks 1.2 is better, we really need a crack for 1.4 pro to see the improvements, i think zip support is only in registered pro

playing this version i see thety have fixed the majof complaint of the last version, this one is at a slower pace, but really cant understand why the sound is so poor, the 3650 speaker isnt that poor quality!!!

It is in the apps section of my first group and the emulators section of my 3rd group (with some games etc). I've also got zxboy 1.1 with keygen, it's quality. I love playing those old speccy games.

Hehe smart ass, no it isn't. The file is a patch that changes they way goboys main screen looks, fair enough he got his terminology slightly wrong, but the file is real.

Thank you yuppo!!! I checked zip files with the new key gen and sure enough. Zipman is no longer needed to play zipped gameboy games.

So what do you people think of the speed and sound of the registered 1.4 pro version??

Speed on zelda seasons and ages sux, to sloow. On Zelda dx it´s pretty ok tho. Sound really sux om all games. But I don´t complain, it´s really great that sound is almost correctly emulated, I´m just asking for opinions.
I´m using a 3650 btw

I think the speed is fine. Way better than 1.3 anyway. The sound sucks, but that was to be expected, even if it was perfect it still would've sucked. The best bit is being able to open the roms without using your inbox or a file explorer.

ok. Strange, I didn´t think they did any speed coding from 1.3->1.4. Mby you mean from 1.2.
Or offcors, if the sound is emulated better that would effect the speed as well.
Why do you think zelda dx runs great, but sasons and ages run so slow.
It´s kindof same game.

The speed problem was the reason for the rapid version change. It was ok on some roms but ones like mario dx it played way to fast.

try doing a google search for gameboy roms, .gb or .gbc files will work.
