3230 Camera Delay Problem... Pls give me a hand!!!

Hi all,

For some reason my 3230's camera has a 2 second delay between the time you press the shutter button and the actual picture was taken. I confirmed this by taking a picture of my digital watch that shows the seconds.

I compared the camera delay problem along side with a 7610 and the 7610 had less than half of the delay of 3230.

I was wondering if anyone would know if this problem is due to an early version of the firmware... or if there is a newer firmware out there to fix it.

My firmware version is: 3.0510.0ch

I can't bring my phone to a Nokia shop b/c it's not distributed by the local distributor and it's not even released officially.

I would very much appreciate if you could give me a hand!!!

3230 has a 1.23 megapixel camera but have slow proccesor, the image proccesing show a delay, and thats disappointing to this kind of stuff.

Yeah, you are right.! I think the cause of the delay is b/c of the slow processor too. I just switched to 6630 which has the same camera and now it has less dealy then 7610!
