WinDPP change hdd serial but the hardware fingerprint is other than the program requires

Don't reckon you will, this has been doing the rounds for quite a while and yet too see anyone who can get it too work.
XAK sells the cracked version for $100 from memory, with Lord charging around $200, but at least they do work.
That file I know :) On my machine it does work, when I change my HD serial. But I suppose it is my other HW that makes it
work with key.. I dunno :(

I can chahge the H.D.D serial as FC2D-28F5, but the Hardware fingerprint is 157F-74CE.
Goto 000000040 offset adress see this line 43 to 46 ,
here find orjinal hardisk serial nummer inverted (e.i 12 34 56 78 to 87 65 43 21)
I change to hex id to F5 28 2D FC save and exit reboot computer.
but still the Hardware fingerprint is 157F-74CE.
Why?
