MCU Checksum algorithm

Hi, its me again ...

Has anybody have a MCU checksum calculation algorithm ???

Maybe it is simple CRC-32 standard polynominal based script ???

Is this simple CRC-32?

get 2 bytes,
add value off next two bytes,
add value off next two bytes,
add value off next two bytes, etc.

Then I can say U just learned me I'm capable of things with some very difficult word for it.
I rather prefer, Mcu calc =)
