eyecon-ed avi will not play

here is my problem. i make a movie with ETI camcorder pro, 1.0 non-beta (got it from s60 island). i send the video to my pc and convert it with eyecon. when i play the converted file, it plays a second or so of the sound, everything is black, and then just stops. no video is shown, just a second of sound.

i did get rid of the other nu codec and only have the nub2 one installed so the videos are no longer upside-down. but now they just won't play at all. any solutions? thank you all in advance.
