Sanyo SCP 550 Net Monitor! It works!

To all Sanyo SCP 550 users: Read here how to activate net monitor on your terminal!

First of all, set PIN request to "OFF", then shut down the phone.

Turn it on again, and WHILE it displays the "Welcome" screen, you need to enter the following code (you got only three seconds to do it!):

The phone will sound it's "error" sound, and continue to boot.

Now, when you go to "Menu"-"Settings"-"Network", you will have a new additional item "Test Mode".

In there you got three items:

1: Standby time on/off (will display the estimated standby time on your current battery charge).
2: V.A. rate (no idea what that's for, can select "Normal Call" or "Markov Call")
3: Monitor Display (on/off). This is the actual "Net Monitor" or "Field Test", similar to Nokia phones.

Note that this is temporary in a way, when you shut down the phone again, it will disappear. That means, if you want to continue using it, you have to use the code again every time you boot the phone, and have to keep the PIN request "OFF".
