I want to collect the field test data streaming to my pc from cable connection on a Nokia 8290 in some sort of formatted database. NetMonitor is activated, but I can only see the info on the pc (Logomanager demo), and it does not save the info. I need a solution that covers other type of phones, not just this one. Is there a way to capture the data over the com port? Any assistance in locating info on this topic or help developing this would be greatly appreciated!
ok, i'm working on it right now, but need a lot of learning about win32 programing with a nice GUI for end-user software
I have researched the mbus protocol for netmonitor a little bit. I'm not a programmer, but have have an idea of how it works and how this project can be done. if you or someone else knows vb and understands the mbus protocol, I have found some resources with the netmonitor commands that will be helpful. Thanks!
